Castlery Warehouse Sale

Made our way to faraway Toh Guan East Road yesterday. Took us 1.5 hours to get there via public transport.

Actually I already saw that Hanford Sofa (which we are eyeing) is already on clearance sale on their website, so we didn’t really have to head down to their warehouse sale. But being bargain hunters, we decided to check it out.

Originally wanted to reach there at 12pm on the dot, but we got too hungry from the long journey lolol got to eat something first. Ate at the new community hospital at Jurong – the drinks stall at the Kopitiam are having 50% off. So our teh-o were only 40cents!! (ok, we had to add 20 cents for takeaway. STILL, damn cheap leh 😅)

This was the crowd we faced when we finally arrived at the warehouse at 1pm. 😱 #dayrehomes

The queue was horrendous 😣 Anyway most of the as-is items were already chopped at around 12plus 😅 The remaining items were quite stained or chipped.

Eg this console (the bottom one) looks decent…

There were a couple of dining tables which we had barely a few minor scratches. Too bad they were already taken haha.

Since Hanford sofa was already on sale online, we left the place shortly after, empty-handed and feeling disappointed that we didn’t reach earlier haha. Wished that there were more as-is items for sale too. Heard a few folks complaining that the queue was too long to bear. Apparently these reserved as-is items will be let go after 2 hours, so there are concerns that the queue will take longer than that 😬

ANYWAY WE FINALLY BOUGHT OUR SOFA AFTER MANY MONTHS!
